R900® Cellular Endpoint for AMI
Cellular AMI within the R900 System
The R900 Cellular Endpoint integrates with Neptune’s water-meter and reading-system portfolio and provides two-way LTE-M communications for cellular AMI without utility-installed and maintained fixed-network infrastructure. Meter information and analytics are available through Neptune 360.
Maintain data continuity
The endpoint records 15-minute interval data and stores 96 days of data for recovery following a network outage. Configurable transmission windows, automatic back-fill and priority alerts support ongoing utility operations.
Plan installation and compatibility
Neptune offers wall and pit configurations with internal or external antenna options as specified for the installation. Supported encoded registers listed in the product sheet include selected Neptune, Sensus, Hersey/Mueller, Badger and Elster/AMCO models. Confirm the meter, register, endpoint and communications configuration for each project.
