How electromagnetic flow measurement works
An electromagnetic flow meter applies a magnetic field across the meter tube. As a conductive liquid moves through that field, electrodes detect an electrical signal proportional to flow velocity. The meter uses that signal and the pipe geometry to calculate flow. Because the measurement does not depend on a moving mechanical element, model selection focuses on the liquid, pipe, installation conditions, power and required outputs.
