Coriolis mass flow transducers provide accurate, continuous, direct measurement of mass, density, temperature and percent solids. We offer solutions over a number of flow ranges.
Features:
The DATAMATE 2200 Mass Flow Computer interfaces with the entire family of Neptune Coriolis mass flowmeter transducers. The microprocessor-based DATAMATE is configurable in the field. You can change the units of measure, output ranges and alarms by simply pressing a few keys on the front panel designed for the batch control market. Versatility and intelligence make the DATAMATE the most cost-effective mass flow computer, complementing the accuracy of the Neptune transducers.
Applications:
Liquids: wines, distilled and blended liquors, bottled and canned soft drinks, resins, propionic acid, fructose, solvents, rhodimet, calcium chloride, sugar, grape juice, ethyl acetate, molasses, edible beef tallow, tomato puree, animal fat, hydrogenated soybean oil, mineral spirits, water, waste oil, oil, latex, acetonitrile, cream, aquaeous ammonia, slurry, toluene, oleum, glycol-water, pulverized asphalt flakes, varnish, waste water, methanol, sodium hydroxide and milk whey.
DATAMATE 2200 Features:
The NexGen SFT200 mass flow transmitter provides a small, efficient, low-cost control system for our mass flow transducers. The NexGen SFT200 greatly reduces the overall cost of the metering system in situations where the full capabilities of the Nexgen SFT100 are not required, for example, a Modbus environment where multiple meters are monitored by a central processor.
The NexGen SFT200 output is MODBUS protocol via RS-485, communicating at standard speeds up to 56.6 K baud. Pulse output is also available. All other functions are handled by external monitoring and control software applications.
The transmitter performs the basic functions of controlling and monitoring the mass flow transducer to determine the mass flow rate, the mass total, density, and temperature. From these primary measurements, it calculates the volumetric flow rate and volumetric total.
The transmitter can be configured through a PC with the NexLink software. Optional interface devices can provide ancillary functions and calculations such as batch control functions, net oil/net water measurements, or other functions.
The Nexgen SFT200 can be mounted directly to the case of the transducer, or remotely mounted when operating conditions are not conducive to integral mounting. Field connections to the unit are made through an 8 position terminal strip with 14 – 18 AWG wires. The wiring cable is run through the unit’s connector and secured with a cable gland or conduit. Remote mounting requires an additional cable between the NexGen SFT200 and the transducer adapter.
Itron mass flow transducers are industry leaders in accuracy and reliability. The NexGen SFT200 delivers these benefits at a lower cost for Modbus applications.
The NexGen SFT 100 Mass Flow Transmitter interfaces with the entire family of Neptune mass flowmeter transducers. The SFT 100 is unmatched in terms of user-friendliness and its flexibility to interface with your control system. Measures mass flow rate and total mass, density, temperature, standard and actual volumetric flow rate and total volume, percent solids/concentration and solids mass flow rate and total. Uses expandable digital signal processing for increased accuracy and noise elimination.

Mass inventory management systems combine the superior accuracy of Neptune mass flowmeters with specialized software to bring all product flows under control. The system instantaneously tracks and balances mass intake against mass ouptput, providing key information needed to reduce shrinkage or product loss.
Mass inventory tracking provides real-time information that has significant bottomline impact through:
Easily configurable to individual bulk plants, the system can accommodate unloading from a variety of supply modes: from ships, pipelines, railcars or motor transports. Neptune Coriolis mass flowmeters measure every liquid phase flow and vapor return loop. This uniquely integrated approach tightens up inventory tracking by accounting for vapor phase return flows previously not measured, particularly significant in bulk unloading or bobtail filling operations.
One computer, interfaced comprehensively with multiple flowmeters, pumps, valves and sensors, displays data through our proprietary software (Microsoft Windows based). The software provides a detailed tabular log of every event, an instantaneous mass balance and total inventory position. Transaction information can be interfaced with accounting software for seamless data management. Managers can track status anytime, from anywhere, through remote monitoring and control capabilities.
In 2002, we introduced the world’s first mass flowmeter designed to meet the rigorous demands of the LPG bobtail environment. Since then, the advantages of this all-electronic system have been proven again and again. With no moving parts to wear out, the RML2000 provides dependable, maintenance-free service. Discover how the unmatched accuracy and maintenance-free reliability of the Neptune RML2000 can increase your efficiency and profitability.
